Rolls-Royce Announces Factory Expansion in England

Rolls-Royce, a BMW subsidiary, is expanding its factory in Chichester, England. The expansion aims to accommodate the increasing demand for expensive customized cars from their ultra-wealthy clientele. Reports show that while Rolls-Royce’s sales have grown by 17% in 2020, the average amount customers paid for their cars increased by 43%. To meet these demands, the factory will add five new buildings for workshops and the storage of exotic materials. This is the first major expansion since its establishment in 2003. The customization trend is not limited to Rolls-Royce, with other luxury car manufacturers also witnessing a surge in customization requests.
